Shopping in Crayford: Tower Retail Park and the Town's Big Stores
Crayford is one of Bexley's main shopping destinations. Here is what you'll find at Tower Retail Park and the supermarkets around Crayford Road.
For a town of its size, Crayford has an outsized retail offer, drawing shoppers from across Bexley and neighbouring Dartford. Most of it is clustered on and around Crayford Road on the edge of the town centre.
Tower Retail Park
Tower Retail Park (Crayford Road, DA1 4LD) is the main draw. Its stores include:
- Next — fashion and homeware
- Currys — electricals and appliances
- Boots — health and beauty, with a pharmacy
- Smyths Toys — toys, games and baby products
- Sports Direct — sportswear and equipment
- Hobbycraft — arts and crafts
- Pets at Home — pet supplies
- Poundland — discount variety
There is free customer parking across the park.
Supermarkets
Directly opposite the retail park are two large supermarkets: a Sainsbury's superstore on Stadium Way (built on part of the former greyhound stadium site) with its own petrol station, and an Aldi. Between them they cover the weekly shop for much of the area.
The High Street
The older heart of Crayford along the High Street keeps a parade of independent shops, takeaways, pharmacies and services — a contrast to the big-box retail a few minutes away.
Getting there
The retail parks are a short walk from Crayford railway station and are served by several bus routes. Drivers come off the A206/A2000 with parking on site.
